There is no filler added to the ABS edge banding, which increases the production cost to a certain extent.
However, the advantage of this compared with PVC edge banding is that the rounded corners are relatively smooth after trimming, and the surface of ABS edge banding is more impact-resistant. Generally, the impact is not particularly strong, and it will not cause abnormalities in the edge banding.
Temperature resistance
There are also certain differences between ABS edge banding and PVC edge banding in terms of temperature resistance.
The ABS edge banding can withstand high temperature up to 99 degrees before the state changes;
while the shrinkage of the PVC edge banding generally needs to be at a high temperature of 70 degrees. Regardless of the material of the edge banding, after being heated and deformed, it will also lead to various conditions such as plate deformation.
In terms of chemical composition stability, ABS edge banding also has greater advantages than PVC edge banding, which has a lot to do with the material formula.
ABS edge banding has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Even if it is poured with soy sauce, diesel oil, and peanut oil, it will not affect its material;
