MDF (Medium density fiberboard) is a kind of man-made board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber as raw material, after crushing, fiber separation, drying, applying urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives, and then hot pressing. Its density is generally in the range of 500-880 kg/m3, and its thickness is generally 5-30 mm.
MDF board, Chinese full name medium density fiberboard, English name: MediumDensityFiberboard, abbreviated as MDF, so the domestic abbreviation is MDF board, also known as MDF. MDF board is a kind of density board, and density board is divided into high density board, medium density board and bottom density board according to different densities, among which medium density board is medium density fiberboard, that is, mdf board.
The material of the mdf board is mainly a man-made board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber, which is then crushed, separated, dried, and then applied with urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives.
1. The internal structure is uniform, the density is moderate, the dimensional stability is good, the deformation is small, and the physical and mechanical properties are moderate.
2. The surface is smooth and smooth, and the machining performance is good. It can be pasted with sliced veneer, patterns and novel and beautiful decorative papers. Therefore, it is very popular in home decoration and is often used to make furniture and partitions.
3. It can be used as the middle frame and middle clip strip in modern decorative frameless paintings. The national registered trademark Vision Life Frameless Painting is such an application, making life more environmentally friendly.
The specification produced by the normal machine is 1220*2440mm;
Conventional double-sided 2000/2200x700x560/600mm
Conventional single side 1800x1000x450mm can also be customized according to capacity.
MDF thickness is generally 3mm, 5mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm.
Density: 450-750kg/m3
Moisture content: 4-13%
Static bending strength: 20mpa
Surface bonding strength: 0.5mpa
Internal bonding strength: ≥1.2mpa
Screw holding force: 1540N
Environmental protection level: E1, E0, P2 level
Medium density fiberboard is divided into ordinary type, furniture type and bearing type according to “Medium Density Fiberboard ~ GBrr 11718”.
Ordinary type refers to MDF boards that are usually not used in load-bearing places and not used for furniture, such as temporary display boards and partition boards for exhibitions.
Furniture type refers to the medium density fiberboard that is used for furniture or decoration, and usually requires secondary surface processing, such as furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, decorative parts, joinery products, etc.
Load-bearing refers to medium-density fiberboards that are usually used for small structural components or under load-bearing conditions, such as indoor ground laying, scaffolding, and ordinary indoor building components.
High-density boards (HDF)are used for indoor and outdoor decoration, office and civil furniture, audio, and vehicle interior decoration. They can also be used as materials for anti-static floors in computer rooms, wall panels, security doors, wall panels, and partitions. It is also a good material for packaging
All furniture is made of medium density boards, because the density of high density boards is too high and it is easy to crack, so there is no way to make furniture.
The structure of fiberboard is uniform, completely overcomes various defects of wood, is not easy to deform, warp and crack, and is isotropic. Hard fiberboard can replace wood for indoor walls, ceilings, etc.
